Vietnam's Miss Vietnam 2026 Contest Showcases Highly Educated and Tall Candidates

The 2026 Miss Vietnam pageant is drawing attention for the strong academic credentials of its contestants. Organisers note that many applicants are university students or graduates from prestigious institutions, with several holding scholarships, honours and even master’s degrees. Notable examples include Lê Thị Hạnh Dung, a TESOL master’s graduate who finished top of her class and holds an IELTS 8.5 score, and Đinh Diệu Anh, a dual‑degree graduate with honours in Business English and International Economics, who also won multiple academic awards and performed for the New Zealand prime minister’s visit. Other contestants such as medical student Trần Nguyễn Như Ý and pharmacy student Nguyễn Thị Diệp Chi add to the pool of highly qualified participants.

In addition to academic prowess, the roster features a number of exceptionally tall contestants. Cao Trần Tú Anh, a 1.77 m tall student from Vĩnh Long, and Phạm Vân Hà, 1.75 m and the youngest entrant, exemplify the height emphasis. Several other participants stand over 1.73 m, highlighting a shift toward broader physical diversity in the competition.

The combination of strong educational backgrounds and notable height is being portrayed as a sign of the evolving role of beauty pageants in Vietnam, where intelligence and personal development are increasingly valued alongside appearance.
