Vietnam's TKV Group holds mass arts festival and reviews Q4 production

The Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation (TKV) is hosting its 2026 Mass Arts Festival in Quang Ninh. Following the opening ceremony on October 19, the event features 26 amateur art troupes comprising 1,076 performers. The festival, which includes 146 musical and dance acts, serves to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the mining industry's traditional day and aims to foster cultural values and solidarity among workers. The event is scheduled to conclude with an awards ceremony on October 24.

Separately, TKV General Director Vu Anh Tuan chaired a meeting in Quang Ninh to review production, import, consumption, and coal inventory plans for the fourth quarter of 2026. TKV reported that in the first nine months of 2026, coal consumption reached 39.174 million tons, representing 78.3% of the annual plan and a 16.6% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The group is also focusing on digital transformation to become a digital enterprise by 2030.
