Vietravel Airlines expands fleet with new Airbus A321

Vietravel Airlines has officially received a new Airbus A321 aircraft, registration VN-A295, at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi. This addition is part of the airline's 2026 fleet expansion plan to increase capacity ahead of the year-end peak season and the 2027 Lunar New Year.

The aircraft is scheduled to begin operations on November 7, 2026. This follows the recent acquisition of another Airbus A321, registration VN-A292, in September 2026. These moves are part of a broader strategy to increase the airline's owned aircraft ratio following its integration into the T&T Group ecosystem.

In conjunction with the fleet expansion, the airline is launching several new international routes. These include Hanoi to Shenzhen, China, starting November 14, 2026, and a regular Hanoi to Macau route starting November 29, 2026. The airline is also working to establish routes connecting Hanoi to Taipei and Da Nang to Kaohsiung.
