Vietravel Airlines to purchase 50 Airbus aircraft

Vietravel Airlines has signed an agreement to purchase 50 new generation aircraft from Airbus. The deal, announced in Paris, includes 20 A220 aircraft and 30 aircraft from the A321 family, specifically featuring the A321neo and A321XLR models.

Deliveries are expected to begin in 2029. This fleet expansion is intended to serve as a foundation for the airline to increase its operational capacity and expand its international flight network from Asia into South Asia, Central Asia, and parts of the Middle East.

Đỗ Vinh Quang, Chairman of Vietravel Airlines and Vice Chairman of T&T Group, represented the airline during the signing ceremony. The event took place in France in the presence of Vietnamese and French leadership.
