Vietravel fined 295 million VND for securities market violations

Vietnam’s State Securities Commission (UBCKNN) issued Decision 406/QD‑XPHC imposing a total fine of 295 million VND on travel company Vietravel Joint Stock Company. The penalties comprise 92.5 million VND for delayed disclosure of board‑approved financing actions beyond 15 days, 65 million VND for incomplete financial statement reporting, and 137.5 million VND for violations of related‑party transaction rules. The regulator noted that related‑party dealings in 2024 and 2025 amounted to roughly 1.83 trillion VND and 1.68 trillion VND, respectively, without board approval. The fines target the company’s non‑compliance with securities disclosure and governance requirements.
