Vietri di Potenza hosts free Fabrizio Moro concert and summer festival

The municipality of Vietri di Potenza in Basilicata has launched the summer programme “E… State a Vietri”, featuring a series of free public events. The highlight is a free concert by singer Fabrizio Moro on 14 August, the only 2026 tour date in the region. The following day, comedian Simone Schettino will perform, and on 16 August the local band Tarantanova Canzoniere del Sud will play in the town square.

Other activities include a ball‑shooting competition (2 Aug), a basketball and minibasket tournament (7 Aug), a children’s inflatable village (9 Aug), a youth cultural event (10 Aug), a gastronomy fair (11 Aug), and the 12th edition of the “Tipica” oil and local‑product fair (12‑13 Aug). Free parking and a shuttle service are provided. Mayor Christian Giordano said the events aim to boost tourism, support local businesses and offer community gathering opportunities.
