Viettel AI Race 2026 honors top artificial intelligence solutions

The Viettel AI Race 2026 concluded in Da Nang, celebrating top solutions for industrial artificial intelligence challenges. The competition attracted over 1,600 teams and nearly 2,900 registrants, including 65 participants living in 13 different countries.

To simulate real-world enterprise environments, contestants utilized the Viettel AI Platform and were provided with NVIDIA H200 GPUs for model training and optimization. The competition focused on three specific tracks:

• BTS Digital Twin: Tensara won first prize for creating 3D digital replicas of telecommunications base stations. • Ontological Reasoning in Medical Knowledge Retrieval: The teams ‘7 cỏ’ and ‘10 gió’ secured first place for medical knowledge retrieval and reasoning. • LLM Inference Optimization: Team MOE took first prize for optimizing the operation of large language models.

Cao Anh Son, Deputy General Director of Viettel Group, stated that the competition aims to create an environment where AI is evaluated not just on scores, but on its ability to solve practical problems and master technology for real-world applications.
