Viettel IDC named Typical Digital Infrastructure Enterprise at Better Choice Awards 2026

At the Better Choice Awards 2026, held as part of the National Innovation Day, Viettel IDC was honored as the Typical Digital Infrastructure Enterprise of the Year. The award recognizes the company's capacity to build and operate large-scale digital infrastructure and its mastery of core technologies.

By the end of 2025, Viettel's infrastructure is projected to include approximately 850,000 km of fiber optic cable, 70,000 domestic telecommunications stations, 36,000 international stations, and 30,000 5G stations. This network serves over 70 million customers in Vietnam, including 13 million 5G subscribers. Notably, 60% of these stations are deployed in rural, mountainous, and remote areas.

Beyond connectivity, Viettel operates 14 data centers covering 124,000 m² and utilizes five undersea cable routes with a capacity of 22 Tbps. The awards ceremony, themed ‘Innovation Beyond Borders’, highlighted 45 categories aimed at recognizing solutions that create real value for the economy and consumers.
