Global tech leaders advance AI through space, infrastructure, and new hardware
Global technology leaders and national sectors are intensifying their focus on artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Google announced plans to launch a satellite on October 1st carrying Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) to test AI computing in low Earth orbit, part of its Project Suncatcher to develop solar-powered space-based AI data centers.
In the corporate sector, LG has entered a strategic partnership with Microsoft to develop a global AI ecosystem, focusing on AI data center infrastructure, including cooling and energy storage solutions. Meanwhile, Meta introduced Muse Charm, a small wearable AI device designed to provide a hands-free interface for its Muse AI assistant.
In the United States, a federal appeals court ruled in favor of the Trump administration regarding Anthropic, allowing the Pentagon to designate the AI developer as a “risk to the supply chain” due to safety restrictions placed on its Claude chatbot.
In Vietnam, discussions are centered on overcoming digital transformation bottlenecks. The Ministry of Finance is shifting from simple digitization to data-driven management within the financial sector. Experts emphasize that for AI to provide real value in industries like retail and real estate, businesses must move beyond experimental models toward integrated, high-quality data ecosystems and practical operational results.
