Italian cities host diverse professional, cultural, and economic events

Various Italian cities are hosting significant professional and cultural events. In Padova, the seventh edition of the 'Stati generali delle città intelligenti' will take place on October 19-20 at the San Gaetano cultural center. Organized by the City Vision community, the event expects 1,500 participants and features 17 thematic work tables and an Innovation District for startups and research centers. This is preceded by 'City Vision week' from October 12-18.

In Torino, the View Conference will run from October 12-16, focusing on computer graphics, animation, and visual effects. The event features high-profile industry figures, including Oscar winners Andrew Jackson and Brad Bird, and includes world premieres such as 'Angry Birds 3'. Additionally, the city will host the 'Buonissima 2026' gastronomic event from October 21-25, featuring over 150 chefs.

Economic development initiatives are also underway in other regions. Udine is actively seeking retail investment, having presented its commercial opportunities at the Salone Franchising in Milan; the city is also preparing a 500,000 euro tender to support commerce. In Vinci, a 125,000 euro fund titled 'Idee in bottega' has been approved to modernize or open new businesses in the historic center. Meanwhile, Verona prepares for the 21st edition of ArtVerona from October 9-11, showcasing modern and contemporary art with 137 exhibitors.
