Vigilante spray paints cars in Sydney's Northern Beaches
An unidentified individual in Freshwater, on Sydney’s northern beaches, has begun spray-painting vehicles that park across driveways. The vigilante uses fluorescent paint to mark how much a vehicle has encroached upon a driveway.
One victim, Rob Rakuc, reported that his ute was targeted on Moore Road without any prior warning. Rakuc estimated the damage would cost several hundred dollars to repair. A Tesla driver on the same street was also reportedly targeted by the individual.
Local residents noted that parking is a persistent issue in the area, often exacerbated by visitors to local establishments. While some locals expressed understanding of the frustration caused by poor parking, others have condemned the vandalism.
