Vigili del Fuoco Band to perform at Novi Musica Festival

The Banda Musicale del Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco is scheduled to perform at the Novi Musica Festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Piazza Dellepiane, Novi Ligure. Directed by Maestro Donato di Martile, the concert is organized by the Karkadè and Novi Musica Cultura associations in collaboration with the Municipality of Novi Ligure.

The event is dedicated to the Novimusica International Composition Competition for wind and percussion instruments. A central highlight of the evening will be the absolute first performance of the winning composition from the 2025 edition, composed by Giovanni Lombardi, who will be present to receive his award.

Maurizio Billi, director of the State Police Band, serves as the Artistic Director of the festival and competition. The festival carries on the legacy of the Novi Marenco Festival. The 2026 competition jury includes Maurizio Billi, Giampaolo Lazzeri, and Diego Di Mario of the RAI National Orchestra.
