Vigo announces new gastronomic festivals in Bouzas and Berbés

Vigo is expanding its culinary event calendar with two distinct gastronomic celebrations. In the Bouzas neighborhood, the Association of Friends of the History of Bouzas is launching the inaugural ‘Festa da Carne o Caldeiro’. Scheduled for October 10 and 11 at the Alameda de Eduardo Cabello, the event focuses on a traditional dish featuring meat and potatoes, with 400 portions available at 15 euros each.

Additionally, the ‘Sabores del Mundo’ festival is set to return to the Praza do Berbés in the Old Town for the Christmas season. Running from December 3, 2026, to January 6, 2027, the 35-day event will feature international cuisine from countries including Mexico, Argentina, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Venezuela, Japan, Brazil, Peru, and Colombia. This edition will introduce a large enclosed marquee to protect visitors from winter weather while providing a space for cultural exchange and festive music.
