Vigo area spa visit and Ribadeo coast draw tourists to Galicia

Actress Carmen Flores Sandoval filmed a surprise visit to the historic Balneario de Mondariz in the Vigo area, where she took part in cooking demonstrations with local chef Manuel Cuntín and enjoyed the thermal baths, golf and regional cuisine.

The neighbouring municipality of Ribadeo, on the Galician coast, promotes its natural attractions such as the Playa de las Catedrales – accessible only at low tide and by reservation – and the nearby Isla Pancha with its twin lighthouses. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the town’s Indian‑influenced architecture, including the Torre de los Moreno and the Pazo de Ibáñez.

Both locations underline Galicia’s focus on combining wellness, cultural heritage and coastal scenery to attract domestic and international tourists.
