Vigo hosts Raíces & Trayectorias to showcase female business leaders

The Raíces & Trayectorias project concluded its 2026 national tour in Vigo, hosted at the Afundación auditorium. The initiative, driven by the company Diesemm and the Women in Retail (WiR) association, aims to highlight female talent and provide role models for future generations.

Seven female executives from national and international companies shared their professional experiences, focusing on strategic decision-making, leadership, and resilience. Participants included Beatriz Navarro (CMO of Renault Spain), Isabel Zarza (CEO of Avolta for Southern Europe), Silvia Carbonell Lagunilla (CEO of New Line Events), Ángela Scheidgen (Country Manager Iberia for New Balance), Belén Vázquez Rey (Global Head of Retail and Food Service at Iberconsa), Susana Sánchez (CEO of TOUS), and Rita Gutiérrez (CEO of Publicis Groupe).

The event, moderated by journalist Mónica Martínez, followed stops in A Coruña, Valencia, and Zaragoza. David Suárez, CEO of Diesemm, noted the significance of returning to Vigo, the project's birthplace, to complete the tour.
