Vigo initiates administrative steps for new housing in Ramón Nieto

The Vigo City Council is initiating administrative procedures for a new residential development on Ramón Nieto. The project, proposed by Metronasa SL, involves the construction of a building containing 20 housing units on a 587-square-meter plot located at number 289 Ramón Nieto.

The development requires a “Estudio de Detalle” (Detail Study) to establish aesthetic criteria and building volumes in compliance with the General Municipal Urban Planning Plan (PXOM). To comply with regulations regarding adjacent single-family homes, the building must maintain a specific distance from the northern boundary to avoid creating a blank wall.

Commercialization for the project is expected to begin in January 2028, with a projected key handover in 2030. As part of the agreement, the developer will cede 76.20 square meters to the City Council for road urbanization.
