Vigo Mayor denounces state of city bus station

The Mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero, has issued a sharp criticism against the Xunta de Galicia regarding the deteriorating state of the city's bus station. Caballero described the facility as a “catastrophe,” citing issues with cleanliness, sanitation, malfunctioning restrooms, and broken information panels.

In addition to infrastructure failures, the mayor highlighted the presence of homeless individuals sleeping at the station. He demanded that the regional government provide stable housing alternatives for these individuals. Caballero asserted that the station's current condition harms the city's image and claimed that Vigo currently possesses “the worst bus station in all of Spain.” He called for immediate intervention from the regional administration.
