Vigo mayor seeks regional support for urban bus financing

The mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero, has asked the Galician regional government (the Xunta) for a new subsidy to fund the city's urban bus service. Caballero said the Spanish central government provides substantial support, but the Xunta contributes "zero".

In the Valencian municipality of San Vicente de Raspeig, the local council has approved a renovation of its public transport system. The plan introduces a demand‑responsive transport service integrated with regular buses, aims to improve coverage, reduce emissions, and offer telephone booking for residents without digital access.
