Vigo region hosts SonRías Baixas and Nigrán summer festivals

The SonRías Baixas music festival returns for its 2026 edition from July 30 to August 1 near Vigo and Pontevedra. The three‑day event offers camping close to the beach and features performances by artists such as Zahara, Alcalá Norte, Barry B, Gara Durán, La M.O.D.A., La Pegatina, Biznaga and others.

In the nearby town of Nigrán, the summer celebrations in honor of the Virxe do Carme will be held at Praia América on July 18 and from July 26 to 30. The programme includes a full‑day sardiñada, concerts by Orquesta París de Noia, Orquesta Magos, Triunfo and other groups, a fireworks display, and DJ sessions.

Both festivals draw large crowds to the Vigo area, providing a mix of pop, rock, folk and electronic music throughout the summer.
