Vigo to host II Galician Freak Zombie Walk

The city of Vigo is set to host the II Galician Freak Zombie Walk on September 12, serving as a prelude to the tenth edition of the Galician Freaky Film Festival (GFFF). This free community event features participants dressed as zombies walking through the city's historic center.

This year's edition introduces an international partnership with the Mexico City Zombie Walk, one of the world's largest gatherings of its kind. This twinning aims to establish permanent cultural exchange and collaboration between the Galician and Mexican freak culture scenes.

In addition to the festivities, the event will include a solidarity component through a public food drive. The program begins at 17:00 with a professional makeup station near the MARCO Museum, where attendees can receive characterization using hypoallergenic materials, before the march commences in the evening.
