Vijay alleges secret DMK-AIADMK-BJP alliance in Madhuranthakam

Political tensions have escalated in Tamil Nadu during the Madhuranthakam by-election campaign. Chief Minister Vijay, representing Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has alleged a secret alliance exists between the DMK, AIADMK, and BJP.

During his campaign activities, including a roadshow and public meetings to support TVK candidate Maragatham Kumaravel, Vijay accused the ruling parties of corruption and criticized the political integrity of his opponents. He asserted that the government formed by the people cannot be easily dissolved.

In response, DMK leader M.K. Stalin criticized Vijay’s campaign style, mockingly referring to it as a ‘shooting’ and questioning the sincerity of his political stances. Stalin challenged Vijay’s claims regarding the BJP and the relationship between the DMK and the NDA, questioning the TVK candidate's political background.
