Vijay Bhatt appointed as councilor by Uttarakhand government

Vijay Bhatt has been appointed as a councilor by the Uttarakhand government. Following his nomination on September 8, 2026, Bhatt visited the Bagla Mukhi Shakti Peeth in Banjara Wala, Dehradun.

Bhatt, who serves as the President of the Rashtriya Shashkat Hindu Maha Sangh in Uttarakhand and the Rashtriya Saint Suraksha Parishad, noted that the appointment fulfills a spiritual sign received two years ago at the Shakti Peeth. He was also recognized with the Sanatan Dharma Journalist of the Year 2026 award and the Adi Guru Shankaracharya Sanatani Sewa Puruskar, presented by former Union Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
