VIJHL releases 2026–27 regular-season schedule

The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) has released its regular-season schedule for the 2026–27 season.

The Kerry Park Islanders are set to begin their campaign at home on September 5 against the defending league champion Peninsula Panthers. Head coach Adam Smith noted that while a stretch of road games early in the season presents a challenge, it offers an opportunity for the team to build cohesion.

The Lake Cowichan Kraken will start their season on the road on September 4 against the Nanaimo Buccaneers. Their home opener is scheduled for September 18 at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena against the Campbell River Storm.
