Brann defeats Rosenborg 3-2 in overtime, Castro's controversial celebration

Brann secured a 3‑2 overtime victory over Rosenborg at Brann Stadion. Kristian Eriksen scored the winning goal in extra time after the match was tied 2‑2. Niklas Castro opened the scoring, netting the first goal and celebrating by flashing a middle finger to the camera, later explaining, “It was to the guys, I lost in FIFA, lost my head.” He received a yellow card for the gesture. Castro has now scored five goals in his last four matches. Former Brann coach Freyr Alexandersson returned to Bergen as Rosenborg’s manager and was greeted with applause from the home crowd. The match also marked Felix Horn Myhre’s final appearance for Brann before his transfer to West Bromwich Albion.
