Vikram Solar secures 187 MW solar module order in South India

Vikram Solar Limited has secured a 187 MW solar module supply order from a major Indian renewable energy developer. The contract involves supplying panels for three solar sites located across the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The company will provide high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon G12R modules, which utilize bifacial technology and glass-to-glass construction to collect sunlight from both sides. These modules feature power ratings between 615 and 625 Wp. Delivery of the modules is expected to be completed by December 2026.

This order follows several recent wins for the Kolkata-based manufacturer, including a 400 MW order for agricultural feeder solar projects in Maharashtra and a 124 MW order in Andhra Pradesh. The company stated that its focus remains on high-efficiency cell manufacturing and supplying large-scale utility projects to support India’s renewable energy capacity goals.
