Vikram Solar secures 400 MW module order for Maharashtra solar projects
Vikram Solar has secured a 400 MW module supply order from an EPC player for decentralized solar projects located across Maharashtra, India. The contract focuses on the agricultural feeder solarisation segment, which aims to improve energy access for farmers and support India’s renewable energy and energy security goals.
The company will supply high-efficiency n-type TOPCon G12R modules, which feature glass-to-glass, bifacial technology and half-cut cells with a power output of 620 Wp. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2026, with the contract expected to be executed by March 2027.
This development follows broader investment in the region, such as the $460 million loan from the Asian Development Bank aimed at modernizing rural power infrastructure and promoting distributed renewable energy in Maharashtra.
