Vikramjeet Kanwarpal: From Indian Army Major to Bollywood actor

Vikramjeet Kanwarpal, a former Major in the Indian Army, transitioned from a military career to a successful acting career in Bollywood to fulfill a childhood dream.

Born in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, in 1968, Kanwarpal was inspired by his father, Lieutenant Colonel Dwarka Nath Kanwarpal, a Kirti Chakra recipient. After commissioning as an officer in 1989 and serving for 13 years, he retired from the army in 2002.

He began his film career in 2003 with the movie ‘Paap’ and has since appeared in notable films such as ‘Don’, ‘Rocket Singh’, ‘Murder 2’, ‘2 States’, and ‘The Ghazi Attack’. He has also worked in television and digital series, including the thriller ‘24’ alongside Anil Kapoor and the web series ‘Special Ops’.
