Viktor Gyökeres assists Arsenal equalizer against Bayern München

Viktor Gyökeres played a decisive role in Arsenal’s 2–2 draw against Bayern München in the Champions League. After being benched in favor of Kai Havertz, the Swedish striker entered the match in the 68th minute.

In the 82nd minute, Gyökeres provided the assist for Declan Rice, who scored the equalizer to secure the draw. The match also saw Bukayo Saka forced off with an injury early in the first half, while Eberechi Eze scored Arsenal’s opening goal following his substitution.

On the opposing side, Harry Kane scored a penalty for Bayern München after Jurriën Timber blocked a shot with his hand. Despite the performance, Gyökeres continues to face competition for a starting role under manager Mikel Arteta, having appeared as a substitute in four of his last seven Premier League matches.
