Viktor Orbán attends football match in Trnava

Hungarian political figure Viktor Orbán attended a football match in Trnava, Slovakia, to support the national team during their game against Ukraine. His presence at the Spartak stadium occurred amidst complex geopolitical tensions, as Hungary has historically hindered Ukraine's EU accession and blocked EU aid to Kyiv.

In the city of Trnava, the atmosphere was marked by both celebration and local disruption. While many fans enjoyed the festivities in the city center, local police intervened after Northern Irish supporters climbed the Holy Trinity Monument, a national cultural monument. Municipal police used camera systems to identify and locate the individuals involved in the incident.
