Viktor Orbán responds to horse dispute and child protection allegations

Following claims in the British press that Hungary intended to reclaim the horses, the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture clarified that the situation stemmed from a communication error regarding a loan agreement rather than a formal demand for return. Orbán addressed the matter by sharing memes from 'Üvegtigris' and 'Family Guy' to mock opposition leader Péter Magyar.

Separately, Péter Magyar announced that a report detailing abuses within the child protection system during the Orbán administration will be presented this Saturday. Magyar characterized the findings as evidence of starvation and abuse occurring with the knowledge of those in power. This follows previous investigations suggesting that systemic abuse affected thousands of children in state care and that many sexual abuse cases failed to reach authorities.
