Viktor Orbán to attend 25th Kötcse picnic

The 25th anniversary of the Kötcse picnic, organized by the Alliance for Civil Hungary Foundation, is scheduled for September 12. The event serves as a significant gathering for Fidesz supporters and politicians, marking a potential return to public appearances for Viktor Orbán following his July speech in Tusványos.

Unlike previous years, the speeches at this year's closed-door meeting will not be broadcast publicly. The foundation has also undergone leadership changes; László Kövér has been appointed as a new board member, joining Gergely Gulyás and Ádám Kavecsánszki, while Csaba Dömötör, András Gyürk, and Dávid Hornyák have seen their board positions terminated.

The event follows a period of political scrutiny after recent election results. While the exact location and specific program details remain unconfirmed, the gathering is viewed by many as a pivotal moment for the party to address its future direction and respond to political pressures.
