Viktor Orbán warns of “debt slavery” amid Hungarian economic concerns

Viktor Orbán has criticized the Tisza government regarding Hungary’s current economic trajectory. Following a period of holiday, Orbán issued warnings via social media, stating that “debt slavery is on the horizon again” due to rising public debt and a growing budget deficit.

The Fidesz parliamentary group has also targeted the government's economic performance, noting that Hungarian families are facing some of the highest fuel prices recorded so far this year. Fidesz argues that the combination of high household costs and deteriorating macroeconomic indicators poses a threat to the country's long-term economic stability.
