Viktor Stoyanov announces plans for Bulgarian political party in North Macedonia
Viktor Stoyanov, leader of the Bulgaria-based Macedonia Foundation, has announced plans to establish a Bulgarian political party in North Macedonia. Stoyanov intends to fund this political movement and an associated media network—comprising television, portals, and social media channels—through the sale of branded merchandise.
Stoyanov stated that the media network requires a minimum of 3,000 euros per month to operate. Current merchandise includes t-shirts priced at 20 euros, with plans to introduce winter sweaters for 25 euros, porcelain cups for 6 euros, and hats.
The ultimate objective is for the new political organization to participate in North Macedonia’s next parliamentary elections, scheduled for 2028, with the aim of securing parliamentary seats and government positions. Stoyanov noted that the strategy of using merchandise sales is a way to build the party without relying on the local business elite.
