A friendly match between Viktoria Köln and 1. FC Köln ended in a 2-2 draw but resulted in significant injuries for several players.

Viktoria Köln offensive player Alexander Prokopenko suffered a cruciate ligament tear during the match. The 24-year-old, who joined from Carl Zeiss Jena in the summer, is expected to be sidelined for several months.
