Viktoria Köln and MSV Duisburg lead German 3. Liga

Viktoria Köln and MSV Duisburg have emerged as the top performers in the German 3. Liga, currently occupying the direct promotion spots. After eleven matchdays, Viktoria Köln sits in second place with 23 points, trailing leaders MSV Duisburg by only two points.

Under the leadership of head coach Marian Wilhelm, Viktoria Köln has become a sensation in the league, boasting the highest number of goals scored with 30. Captain David Otto is currently among the league's top scorers with eight goals. The team is noted for its high-pressing style and ball possession.

MSV Duisburg maintains a strong position with 25 points from eleven matches, recording eight wins, one draw, and two losses. Despite a recent 1:2 loss against FC Ingolstadt 04, the club's current goal difference and points tally represent an improvement over their performance as a promoted team last season.
