Viktorija Zdravković opens exhibition as Andrea Zlatar Violić passes away

Artist Viktorija Zdravković has opened her exhibition ‘Get ready with me’ at the O3ONE Gallery in Dorćol Platz. The exhibition uses the popular social media format to explore the reality of female safety. Through her work, Zdravković examines the burden placed on women to personally ensure their security through products like pepper spray and alarms, questioning whether this responsibility should lie with the individual or with society and state institutions.

In other news, former Croatian Minister Andrea Zlatar Violić has passed away. A scholar of comparative literature and philosophy, she served as a minister through the HNS party from 2011 until her resignation in 2015. She was a recipient of the French Order of Knights of Literature and Arts and authored several academic works on autobiography and literature.
