Vila Calderita Beach Festival begins its 10th edition

The 10th edition of the Vila Calderita Beach Festival begins this Saturday in Porto Velho. Located approximately 45 kilometers from the city center, the event aims to promote culture, music, and leisure for local residents and visitors.

The weekend programming features various artists and DJs. Saturday's lineup includes DJ Leylson, Zé do Xote, Banda Gata Forrozeira, Tay Reis, and Mikeia Oliveira. Sunday's schedule features DJ Lacaia, Gira Samba, Juninho Alê, and Edineide Souza.

Débora Figueiredo, president of the Porto Velho Municipal Cultural Foundation (Funcultural), noted that reaching the tenth edition highlights the festival's importance to the community. Mayor Léo Moraes stated the event provides spaces for social interaction and culture outside the urban perimeter.
