Vila Calderita hosts Beach Festival in Porto Velho

The Vila Calderita Beach Festival took place on September 5 and 6, featuring a variety of musical genres including axé, samba, and forró. Organized by the Porto Velho City Hall through the Municipal Cultural Foundation (Funcultural) in partnership with the local residents' association, the free event aimed to bring culture and leisure to the district.

Mayor Léo Moraes stated that such initiatives in the districts serve to bring the public administration closer to local communities and strengthen the local economy by providing opportunities for residents to offer products and services. The programming also included the traditional 'noiadance', highlighting local cultural identity.
