Vila Galé inaugurates new hotel in Pernambuco, Brazil

The Portuguese hotel chain Vila Galé has officially inaugurated the Vila Galé Reserva do Paiva in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, located in the Recife Metropolitan Area of Pernambuco. The new establishment occupies the former Sheraton Reserva do Paiva structure, which had been closed since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

The facility features 298 rooms and suites, four restaurants, bars, pools, a spa, and a convention center. One of the main halls can accommodate up to 1,400 people, reflecting the group's strategic focus on combining leisure, business, and large-scale events.

Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, the president and founder of Vila Galé, stated that the group is optimistic about the high-quality standard of the hotel. The expansion increases the group's presence in Northeast Brazil and aims to stimulate local sectors such as hospitality, gastronomy, transport, and services.
