Vila Nova da Baronia adopts STAR URBAN for street cleaning

The Parish Council of Vila Nova da Baronia has reported a reduction in spontaneous vegetation, moss, and dirt on streets and sidewalks following the application of a product called STAR URBAN. The local authority stated that the intervention successfully addressed accumulated grime, lichens, and algae.

Following these results, the parish of Alvito has begun implementing the same cleaning solution for public space maintenance. The Vila Nova da Baronia council noted that the initiative has sparked interest in other nearby localities.

According to technical documentation provided by the manufacturer, STAR URBAN is a 100% biodegradable, non-caustic, and non-acidic product that is water-soluble. Its formulation utilizes surfactants derived from renewable natural sources and is intended for the treatment of roads, sidewalks, and other outdoor pavements.
