Vila Nova de Cerveira and Arteixo to host major motorsport competitions

Vila Nova de Cerveira will host the CISET Xtrem 4x4 2026 on September 19 and 20. This extreme trial competition is part of the Challenge Ibérico Super Extreme Trial 4x4 (CISET 4x4) calendar. The event, organized by C.A.T.T. – Cerveira Amigos Todo Terreno with support from the local municipality, includes technical trials near the ‘O Cervo’ sculpture and night specials on urban tracks. The program also features resistance specials and daytime urban trials.

In Arteixo, the Trial de las Naciones will take place from September 25 to 27. Organized by the International Motorcycling Federation and Club Motomontañismo Arteixo, this international motorcycle competition will feature approximately 150 athletes from 25 delegations, including representatives from Spain, Japan, the United States, Italy, Canada, and Norway. The event is expected to draw over 2,500 spectators and will require local mobility adjustments and parking restrictions in the Arteixo area.
