Vila Nova de Famalicão senior pilgrimage to Fátima scheduled for Sept 9‑11

The municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão has organized a three‑day pilgrimage for approximately 10,000 senior citizens and retirees to the Sanctuary of Fátima. The journey will take place on 9, 10 and 11 September, with buses departing each parish at 6:30 am and returning at 4:30 pm.

The participants will travel from 49 parishes across the municipality, grouped daily. The outings are supervised by the three local fire departments and the Red Cross unit of Ribeirão. Registration is open at each parish council until 31 July.
