Vila Padre Alaor raises R$ 1.25 million through Folia de Reis

The Folia de Reis campaign in Patos de Minas has raised over R$ 1.25 million to support the Vila Padre Alaor institution. The fundraising initiative, which has been active for more than six decades, saw an increase in both the number of participating groups and the total amount collected compared to previous years.

According to Gaspar, the president of Vila Padre Alaor, the funds from this campaign are vital for the institution's operations, accounting for approximately 60% of its monthly expenses. The campaign relies on the participation of volunteers, families, and local groups, supported by Rádio Clube, to maintain services for those assisted by the facility.
