Vila-real expands summer program for youth with special needs

The Fundació Caixa Rural Vila-real has expanded its ‘Respir d’estiu’ program, which provides specialized support for children and young people with special educational needs. Supported by the Vila-real City Council, the initiative saw an increase in participation, averaging 20 participants per fortnight, doubling the initial projection of 10 places per session.

The program ran for five sessions between June 22 and August 28 at the La Panderola school facilities. It aims to provide specialized attention to minors while assisting families in balancing work schedules with childcare during the summer school holidays.
