Vila-real hosts Michelin-starred chefs for culinary event

The Teatre Tagoba in Vila-real hosted the ‘Cuina en viu’ event, featuring presentations from several Michelin-starred chefs. Participants included Sara Ferreres, Rafa Soler, Susi Díaz, and local chef Rubén Miralles, who focused on the traditional ‘Olla de la Plana’ dish.

Mayor José Benlloch emphasized the importance of innovation and training within the restaurant sector, advocating for partnerships between the City Council and local gastronomic associations to boost tourism. Due to adverse weather conditions, the scheduled solidarity macro-tasting for the ‘Olla de la Plana’ has been postponed to next Monday. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Un Petit Pas-Unpepa association.
