Vila-real to deploy 340 officers for local festivities

Vila-real has announced a security deployment of more than 340 local police officers for the upcoming Mare de Déu de Gràcia festivities. The security plan, coordinated by the Local Security Board, will focus on high-density areas such as the Plaza Major, the fairgrounds, and the bullring, with reinforced patrols during Friday and Saturday nights.

In addition to the festive security measures, the Local Security Board unanimously approved a new protocol between the National Police and Local Police to improve the protection and monitoring of victims of gender-based violence. The planning includes dividing the municipality into four operational zones and 32 specific scenarios to facilitate emergency responses.
