Vilaflor de Chasna hosts Europe's highest vineyards

Vilaflor de Chasna, located in the south of Tenerife, is home to what is considered the highest vineyard in Europe. Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,400 to 1,500 meters, the municipality is one of the highest in the Canary Islands.

The Los Frontones estate features vines planted between 1,100 and 1,600 meters above sea level, growing in volcanic ash. The area is characterized by a cool, dry climate, pine forests, and a landscape of historical trails and traditional white-washed houses.
