Vilafranca del Penedès launches second Month of Wine Tourism

Vilafranca del Penedès will host the second edition of the Month of Wine Tourism throughout November. The initiative aims to promote the city's viticultural heritage, boost the local economy, and reduce tourism seasonality by connecting culture, gastronomy, and the wine sector.

The program includes professional workshops, wine tastings, and cultural events. Key highlights include the 15th anniversary of the Most Festival, the II Wine Tourism and Sustainability Conference focusing on regenerative tourism, and the 'Fira’t de Vi Novell' on November 12. Gastronomic initiatives such as 'Obrim Vi' will feature wines from emerging local micro-wineries in local restaurants.

The event is organized through a collaboration between the Vilafranca City Council, Vinseum, the Wine Tourism School of Catalonia, and various local businesses and entities.
