Vilagarcía celebrates San Roque with Chenoa concert and fireworks

The San Roque festivities in Vilagarcía de Arousa have reached their final stages, highlighted by a major concert from Spanish singer Chenoa at the A Xunqueira park. The performance, which featured hits from her two-decade career, drew large crowds to the city.

Following the musical programming, the celebrations will culminate with the traditional Combate Naval. This event features approximately 8,000 aerial, aquatic, and terrestrial fireworks using 600 kilograms of gunpowder to recreate the historical Battle of Callao.

Additionally, the festivities included the 20th annual chapter of the Cofradía dos Viños Rías Baixas, which celebrated a partnership with the Corazón do Salnés brotherhood during the San Roque celebrations.
