Vilar de Infesta residents demand update on stalled land delimitation with Mos

Neighbourhood groups in Vilar de Infesta have asked the Redondela council to publicly disclose the status of the land‑delimitation process with the neighbouring municipality of Mos. The residents note that almost two months have passed since the deadline for advancing the case expired, with no new information released.

The parties met on 12 March in a delimitation commission, agreeing to hire a specialist to carry out a georeferenced topographic survey based on the 1940 Institute of Geographic and Cadastral Act. The work was supposed to be finished within three months to allow a new commission meeting, but the groups say no progress has been reported. They are requesting a detailed explanation of the delay, the current position of the file, and a revised timetable.

The associations warn that the lack of communication erodes public trust and urge the local government to provide a clear update on the longstanding territorial dispute.
